2019 The Counseling Operation of Regulations for Reporting Environmental Education Plans and Implementation Results and the Working Project of Website Update and Maintenance

The “Environmental Education Act” was officially implemented on June 5th, 2011. It is expected to enhance the citizens’ knowledge, skills, attitude, and value judgment of environmental protection through the long-term deep promotion of environmental protection. Since the announcement of “Environmental Education Act,” we have collaborated with EPA in promoting the businesses related to environmental protection and developed the functions of environmental lectures, juridical person application, subsidy (donation) application, project and result reporting, and knowledge promotion year by year. At present, the major systems of maintenance are “Environmental Education Information System” and “Environmental Education Lifelong Learning Network.” After the announcement and implementation of “Regulations for Reporting Environmental Education Plans and Implementation Results,” it is the first time for the reporting units to report the environmental education plans in accordance with the new regulations in 2019. Besides continuing to follow the counseling mechanism with the past positive effects, this year the project increases the items and frequencies of outbound calls and E-Mail in terms of the project reporting, result reporting, and time limit to raise the reporting completion rate. Furthermore, in response to the announcement of “Regulations for Reporting Environmental Education Plans and Implementation Results,” the project also adjusts the system functions related to the reporting businesses. With the suggestions and feedbacks proposed successively in the process of the reporting units’ implementation, this year we adjust and upgrade the functions of the system, not only making the systematic operation friendlier but also raising the operation efficiency and data quality. To make the competent authority of counties and cities understand the functions of the system and adjust the contents, the project holds two sessions on the website operation and invites the administrators from the competent authority of counties and cities to attend so that they will familiarize themselves with the related system operation and what to take notice of in the counseling process and assist the reporting units in conducting the reporting businesses together.
